Xero is launching a new line-up of business plans this new financial year, which means price changes are coming for many current subscriptions in Australia.
From 1 July, Xero is launching three new streamlined business plans — Xero Ignite, Xero Grow and Xero Comprehensive — and enhancing its Ultimate plan.
These new plans have been streamlined and are designed to provide easier access to the tools that help you run your business efficiently.
What is changing?
The three new plans will replace the Payroll Only, Payroll Cashbook, GST Cashbook, Starter, Standard and Premium plans (which will no longer be sold from 1 July 2024).
In addition, Xero will convert all Premium 10-100 plans to Ultimate plans from 1 July 2024.
Plan pricing increases for subscribers:
- Payroll Only is increasing to $20 per month (this is only for legacy clients and will be transitioned by March 2025)
- Ignite (Starter) is increasing to $35 per month
- Grow (Standard) is increasing to $70 per month
- Comprehensive (Premium 5) is increasing to $90 per month
- Premium 10-100 plans will convert to the equivalent tier
New Ultimate plan prices:
- Ultimate 10 will remain at $115 per month
- Ultimate 20 is increasing to $145 per month
- Ultimate 50 is increasing to $200 per month
- Ultimate 100 is increasing to $245 per month
What do you need to do?
Xero will automatically begin moving subscribers to one of their new plans. They will consider your current plan and any add-on you may have to find an appropriate match.
- If you are the subscriber of your Xero subscription, Xero will contact you directly before any changes are made and provide 60 days notice before your plan is moved. This is due to be completed by March 2025.
- If Cutcher & Neale is the subscriber of your Xero subscription, there is no further action required. We are reviewing each plan individually and will arrange the transition to the appropriate plan.
If you have any questions about what plan is right for you or would like more information about Xero, our team is here to help. Get in touch with our Cloud Software Advisors today.
